Sib-pair Command: set out|plevel

ClassGlobal
Nameset out | plevel
Arguments <level>|verbose|on|off

Increasing the print level causes more information to be printed by almost all procedures. Print level 1 prints out the identities and genotypes of parents imputed where the genotype was missing, raw counts of genotypes for the hwe procedure, expected ibs probabilities for the asp procedure etc. Print level 2 (or verbose) writes out the statistics for each simulated dataset for the MC based procedures, the intrapair variance and ibd sharing for each pair in the sib pair analysis, etc. Print level -1 omits outputting a list of pedigrees.

Example:

>> set plevel 0
>> include linclex.in
#
# Start again
#
>> clear
>> set plevel -2
>> include linclex.in
#
# More and more output -- most commands have a similar
# hierarchy of verbosity
#
>> keep lincl D13S162
>> tdt lincl
>> set plevel 1
>> tdt lincl
>> set plevel 2
>> tdt lincl
