Genetic Epidemiology, Translational Neurogenomics, Psychiatric Genetics and Statistical Genetics Laboratories investigate the pattern of disease in families, particularly identical and non-identical twins, to assess the relative importance of genes and environment in a variety of important health problems.

TITLE
Antibody response to common human viruses is shaped by genetic factors.
ABSTRACT
Using a large twin study we found strong evidence that extent of antibody response to six common human viruses was influenced by genetic factors. In contrast, common environmental factors contributed more to inter-individual variation in serostatus than antibody response.
